IRC 471(c) and the Future of IRC 280E

Mr. Richards is a tax attorney representing individuals and businesses in tax audits, trials and collections throughout Colorado, California and the U.S. He is a partner at Dill & Dill and Tax Counsel for Vicente Sederberg – two prominent Denver law firms leading the way in Cannabis Law. Mr. Richards is also an adjunct professor of law at the University of Denver, President of Global Cannabis Innovators Corp, and is a founding board member for the Cannabis Certification Counsel, a non-profit, and the Cannabis Growth Opportunity Corp, a public Canadian company. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Richards was an IRS Trial Attorney, advisor to the IRS Chief and Area Counsels, and he represented the IRS in bankruptcy court as a Special Assistant United States Attorney. Nick is licensed to practice law in California and Colorado and is admitted before the US Tax Court, Colorado and California state courts, several Federal District Courts and he is a member of the CTLA, the ABA Tax Section, the NCIA, NCBA, and the Colorado and California Bar Associations.
